Vinyasa Lab Summer Series
Hosted at Yoga Futura Neukölln
Dates: 17 + 24 June, 1, 8, 15, 22, 29 July (21:00-21:30)
Ever wonder what a vinyasa is supposed to look and feel like? Have you spent one practice too many thinking that what you’re doing in your vinyasa is…correct? Spend the end of your Wednesday evening refining your existing vinyasa flow (Plank > Chaturunga > Updog > Downdog). We’ll get together as a group examining the keystone of the vinyasa: Chaturunga Dandasana, or Four-Limbed Staff Pose. Utilizing props, we’ll work through drills and build the upper body strength and general core awareness required to enter and sustain this pose. Jessica will also be on hand to correct your alignment.
This will be a several week series that works as a standalone practice or you can continue to come to build on your developed progress. As time allows, there will be an opportunity for a brief Q+A. This series will be offered on a suggested donation of €5-8, payable in advance here or with a USC check-in. Those holding a studio membership/class pack are welcome to join by booking their spot online here or via Bsport.
The Art of Sequencing
There's no need to reinvent the wheel and come up with something new and novel for each class or practice. The body learns the best through intelligent structure, which lends itself to having a safe, and sustainable practice for years to come.
Learn different strategies and best practices in this workshop intensive about sequencing for teachers and regular practitioners. This workshop is instructed from the vinyasa framework.
